Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 / DEGEMED
With the certification according to ISO 9001:2015 and DEGEMED in May 2008, the Breisgau-Clinic has chosen an internationally proven and recognized quality management system. With this certification, the Breisgau Klinik meets the steadily increasing demands in the health care sector. The patients can expect a friendly and competent team and a high-quality organizational and communication structure in which they feel well cared for and understood.

Certification according to EFL
The system of evaluation of functional performance (EFL) was developed in the US by Susan Isernhagen, PT, and has proven extraordinarily valuable. 29 standardized functional performance tests (primarily lifting, carrying, overhead work, ladder climbing, hand coordination) examine the capacity for common work-related physical activities.
Clinic Rating (Benchmarking)
On the basis of a single, broad-based anonymized patient questionnaire, the Breisgau Clinic is subject to a monthly rating concerning process quality together with six other clinics. The results of the monthly ratings are interpreted and used to improve internal processes and procedures.
REHAB Quality Assurance Program
Die Breisgau-Klinik nimmt mit sehr guten Ergebnissen am Reha-Qualitätssicherungs-programm der gesetzlichen Rentenversicherung und der gesetzlichen Krankenkassen teil. Im Peer Review der Rentenversicherung nimmt die Breisgau-Klinik seit Jahren deutschlandweit einen Spitzenplatz ein.
The Breisgau Clinic participates with very good results in the Rehab Quality Assurance Program of the statutory pension and the statutory health insurances. In the peer review of the German Pension Insurance, the Breisgau Klinik takes a leading position since several years.
Further Education and Training
In addition to a well-organized internal training program, medical and non-medical personnel participate regularly in external further education and training. An occupational training policy promotes and supports targeted training and education of the clinic staff. Training events and courses are held every year at the Breisgau Klinik. The trainings and lectures are held by renowned speakers of various professional disciplines. Participants will be awarded a training certificate in accordance with the training regulations of the State Medical Chamber Baden-Württemberg.
